Questions and answers
Help with your Pro license key, cancelling and refunds.
In short: your key works in up to 5 browsers. If something is stuck, your Polar account shows your key and lets you free up a browser. Still stuck? Email joe@everysixty.com.
My key says it's active on 5 browsers
One Pro license key works in up to 5 browsers at once. Each browser you turn Pro on in uses one of the 5. When all 5 are in use, a sixth browser cannot turn Pro on until you free one up.
To free one up:
- Open your Polar account at polar.sh/everysixty/portal and sign in with the email you used to buy.
- Under your license key, deactivate a browser you no longer use.
- In Every Sixty, open Pro and press Try again.
Moving to a new browser or computer? See moving Pro.
Moving Pro to a new browser or computer
- In the old browser, open Every Sixty, choose Pro, and press Remove from this browser. That frees one of your 5 browsers.
- If the old browser is gone, deactivate it in your Polar account instead (see the 5-browser limit).
- In the new browser, open Every Sixty, choose Pro, and paste your key into "License key". Pro turns on as soon as you paste.
Don't have the key to hand? See where to find it.
Where is my license key?
Polar sends it to you in the purchase email. It is also in your Polar account, under your purchase: sign in with the email you used to buy.
Then open Every Sixty, choose Pro, and paste the key into "License key".
My key isn't accepted
- Check that you copied the whole key, with no spaces or line breaks before or after it.
- Check that it is your Every Sixty license key, not an order number or an invoice number.
- If it still fails, email joe@everysixty.com and we will sort it out.
My key is no longer active
This happens when the subscription has ended, or the purchase was refunded. If you cancelled, Pro continues to the end of the period you paid for, then stops.
If Every Sixty says this browser was removed from your key, someone deactivated it in your Polar account, for example to free up a browser. If that was a mistake, open Pro and press Turn Pro on again; it uses one of your 5 browsers.
To turn Pro back on, renew in your Polar account. A lifetime license does not run out on a date: see what lifetime means in the terms.
When Pro is off, your saved data stays with you and everything in the free version keeps working.
"Can't reach Polar right now"
Every Sixty checks your key with Polar from time to time. If it cannot connect, Pro stays on for up to 7 days without a connection, and Every Sixty rechecks by itself once it can reach Polar again. You do not need to do anything.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancel anytime in your Polar account. Pro access continues to the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 14 days of any purchase and you get a full refund, no questions asked. See the refund policy for how to ask.
What happens when the beta ends?
Pro is free for everyone during the beta. Both Pro features, sync across browsers and automatic Google Drive backup, are in beta – rolling out. The prices apply after the beta, and we will announce the end date before it arrives.
If Pro ends for you, your saved data stays with you. Sync and automatic backup pause, everything already in your Google Drive stays there, and everything in the free version keeps working.
How do I send feedback?
Use the feedback form. You see everything before it is sent, and an email address is optional.
